Young Speaker: Adventure Stories (1st-3rd)

Our focus on practical speaking skills also helps students become more comfortable expressing themselves in various situations.
Adventure Stories: Campers will write and deliver original narrative speeches, sharing their accomplishments and commemorating their achievements.
Campers will learn to develop stories, create compelling plots, and build suspense in their narrative speeches, fostering their creativity and storytelling skills.
This ability to craft engaging narratives will apply in the real world by enhancing their communication skills and allowing them to captivate audiences in various settings, such as school presentations, storytelling events at speech competitions, or future interviews.
Deliverable: Each camper will present their original narrative speech showcasing their accomplishments and leaving their audience fascinated with them.
Prerequisite: None
Recommended Next Steps: Additional Young Speaker Camp or Little Orator Essentials Class.
